An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic Fire & Security Service Technicians to join a dynamic and growing team. This role offers ongoing training, support, and development. The successful candidates will work across domestic and commercial sectors, providing a wide range of fire and security services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance of fire and security systems in commercial, industrial, and domestic settings.
- Identify and rectify faults across various systems and manufacturers.
- Compile comprehensive service and maintenance documentation.
- Utilize electronic devices for document completion and submission.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fire and security industry.
- Proficiency in servicing systems to industry standards (BAFE and NSI Gold).
- Experience with systems including Hikvision, Paxton, Scantronic, Texecom, Galaxy, Morley/Kentec Fire, EMS, and Nurse Call Systems.
- Basic IT skills (MS Word, MS Outlook).
- Punctual, positive, and proactive.
- Detail-oriented and methodical.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence and valid ECS Card
- Knowledge of IP systems.
- Qualified in Fire Extinguisher installation and servicing.
- IPAF, PASMA, and Asbestos Awareness certifications.

- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
- Standby Duties: Paid retainer plus paid call outs, 4 days on rotation
- Salary: £36,000 - £38,000
- Benefits: 23 days of paid holiday plus UK statutory Bank Holidays, increasing with service. Auto-enrollment into the workplace pension scheme after a 3-month probation period.
