Salary: £200.00-£210.00 per day
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Experience:
Bricklaying: 6 years (required)
CSCS and Tools Licence/Certification: (required)
Responsibilities:
Lay bricks and other masonry units to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures
Measure and cut bricks to fit specific dimensions
Mix mortar and spread it onto surfaces to secure bricks
Use hand tools such as trowels, levels, and jointers to align and finish the mortar joints
Use power tools such as saws and grinders to cut and shape bricks
Install insulation materials to ensure energy efficiency
Repair or replace damaged bricks or masonry units
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
Proficient in masonry techniques and practices
Familiarity with different types of bricks, stones, and other masonry materials
Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
Strong knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in construction
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy materials
