Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damage
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired results
- Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, furniture, and equipment
- Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply paint evenly and smoothly
- Ensure that all painting work is completed according to specifications and quality standards
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and use protective gear when necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a strong eye for colour
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
