Ignite Recruitment are seeking an experienced and motivated Passive Fire Contracts Manager, to lead and manage our Clients passive fire protection projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection, excellent project management skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of passive fire protection contracts, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of passive fire protection projects
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure all work is carried out to compliance and details
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation to stakeholders
- Oversee procurement of materials
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams
- Create and sustain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the fire protection industry.
- In-depth knowledge of passive fire protection systems
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prepare and present reports in excel
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have relevant certifications such as NVQ6 and IFE level 3 (2)
- SMSTS is desirable
