ROLE: To manage bespoke and fitted projects from initial client meetings through design & manufacture to final installation or delivery. Working closely with our Sales, Design and Workshop teams.
REPORTING TO: Production Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advising Sales & Design
Giving insight into the technical elements of each project.
Helping designers stay within confines of budget and what is make
Supporting Salespeople on answering specific questions from the client.
Costing & Budget control
Obtaining quotes from different workshops to present to sales team.
Negotiating costs with suppliers to fit budget.
Ensuring the project is kept in line with budget and on time throughout manufacture.
Reporting any changes or upcharges that are incurred.
Manufacture
Monitoring progress of project at workshops
Managing issues discovered during manufacture to minimise impact on budget and timeline.
Scheduling mid-production and final QC trips to the workshops.
Quality Control
Making sure that all pieces meet the companies standard and are as per the technical drawings signed off by the client.
Working with the workshop teams to rectify/correct any QC failures in a way that preserves the working relationship.
Clean Driving Licence required
Site Management
Managing and overseeing (with assistance) the installation of fitted furniture on site, both in the UK and abroad when necessary.
Weekly Team Meetings
Participate in weekly update meetings to report on progress of projects.
