Project Manager (Interiors, residential, carpentry)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a team specializing in the manufacture of fine furniture and joinery for super yachts and high-end residential projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle of bespoke joinery projects, managing budgets, schedules, contractors, and ensuring clients receive the best service possible. This full-time salaried position offers development prospects for the right candidate, working within a supportive team environment.
The Role:
- Oversee the complete project lifecycle of carpentry and joinery projects from concept to completion.
- Create timelines, schedules, and manage projects efficiently within budget and time constraints.
The Person:
- Background in Carpentry/Joinery or Project Management experience with a desire to develop skills further.
- Full UK Driver's Licence.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience within yacht and residential projects valued between £500k and £3.5m.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a joinery/carpentry supervisor/manager.
- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD/Inventor packages.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional knowledge of external and internal joinery items.
- Extensive knowledge of associated materials, products, and finishes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent personal time management with the ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of site surveys to ensure cabinetry and joinery fit within the confines of buildings and yachts.
- Ability to build strong relationships with site teams and workshop teams alike.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
