Ignite Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our client, specializing in the water and wastewater sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results, while maintaining budget, time, and scope requirements. This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive individual with proven experience in project management within the water industry.

 Role Summary:  
- Manage and lead the complete life cycle of projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and quality delivery.  
- Build strong client relationships and identify new opportunities for project development.  
- Maintain full P&L responsibility and ensure effective risk and issue management.  
- Drive continuous improvement in project management practices across the business.  
- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at all times.  

 Key Responsibilities:  
- Develop and deliver tailored project proposals, balancing client needs with project constraints.  
- Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, and handover.  
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking progress against schedule and financial targets.  
- Ensure robust scope control through defined processes and manage change requests as required.  
- Ensure regular communication with clients and senior management to report on project status.  
- Conduct site inspections, write risk assessments, and ensure all projects meet safety regulations.  
- Manage and delegate tasks to internal teams and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.  
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely delivery of all materials and services.  
- Provide clear and structured handovers at project completion, including lessons learned.  

 Person Specification:  
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams.  
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  
- Strong analytical skills and a keen commercial mindset.  
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.  

 Required Experience:  
- Proven experience in project management within the water or wastewater sector is essential.  
- Experience with engineering qualifications (HND essential, BEng/BSc preferred).  
- Project management certification, such as PRINCE2, is highly desirable.  

 Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE):  
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are strictly followed across project sites.  
- Conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks, and accident investigations when required.  
- Promote a proactive approach to HSE requirements, ensuring all staff have appropriate PPE and training.
