Workshop Assistant (Full-Time)
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production workshop as directed by the Workshop Manager
- General facilities management tasks like cleaning, organizing tools/equipment, maintaining supplies and work areas
- Receive deliveries and assist with asset management following safe handling practices
- Prepare production elements through tasks like filling, sanding, etc.
- Stock taking of materials and hardware
- Routine premises cleaning and maintenance
- Ensure minimization of wastage and organization of production material off-cuts
- Opportunity to learn skills like operating CNC machines, basic carpentry, and spray painting
Requirements:
- Health & safety awareness
- Basic IT skills
- Ability to perform practical workshop tasks
- Valid driving license to operate company vehicles
- Sustainable approach to work practices
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn technical production skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to take direction from the Workshop Manager

Desired Qualifications:
- GCSEs including English & Maths (or equivalent)
- Carpentry or construction experience
- Full clean driving license
- Forklift license
Location: Harlow, Essex (includes on-site work and driving)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Salary: £11.50 per hour
